Welcome! I am Lianne Brickell, Image Consultant, Personal Shopper, fashion blogger and all-around fashion-fanatic. I truly believe that fashion can brighten your day and make you shine in all aspects of your life.

When you feel great leaving your home, you’re confident and excited to take on your day. My main goal with Love Your Looks is to provide that feeling to every one of my clients.

I want to help people love the way they look and love the way their look makes them feel about themselves, no matter what stage they are at in their lives.

I have always been obsessed with all aspects of Fashion.

This fascination has ensured that I am always on the cusp of the latest fashion and merchandising trends. I am seriously always thinking about fashion. It is truly my passion. I get my inspiration and trend knowledge through magazines, Pinterest (what did we do before Pinterest?!) and countless fashion blogs.

I developed my personal style early on in life but its my own look. I believe fashion should be fun, and I have no fashion fear. If I love it I wear it, cause it makes ME feel good.

All my life I have helped my friends and family find looks they love for weddings or special events, or been the one they turn to for fashion advice, or send me pics to ask my opinion on something they just bought but I knew I wanted to do more to help other people find their look.

I wanted to pair my natural interest in all things style with a formal education in the finer details of the industry, so I attended Seneca College where I received my Fashion Business Diploma which covers courses such as Fashion Buying, Visual Merchandising, Psychology of Fashion, Retail Marketing, Fabric Fundamentals and my favourite course, Evolution of Fashion

Furthering my education, I earned a Fashion Studies Certificate which covers topics such Colour and Trend Forecasting, Drawing and Illustration, Concepts and Design and Materials Exploration.

During my time working in retail I realized that helping customers find beautiful pieces they found amazing in was the most rewarding part of the job. Upon this realization I immediately begun the journey to be an Image consultant I attained an Image Consulting and Personal Shopping certificate through the Fashion Stylist Institute. Also received further Colour Analysis training through the International Image Institute.

Today, when I am not helping clients look and feel their best, I continue to monitor the latest fashion trends, while refining my look and sharing my ideas about style on my blog, Lianne’s Look.

As an image consultant I know all the rules and etiquette but I also know and truly believe that fashion is fun! A way to express who you are
